  8. Why are electricians so expensive?

It takes several years to make a halfway decent electrician and decades to make a great electrician. Qualified Electricians are highly skilled and knowledgable in what they do. They understand your electrical system inside and out and have the knowledge and expertise to complete your wiring needs in a safe and legal manner.

A licensed electrician has a tremendous liability for every electrical service he provides. He becomes personaly responsible for one of the most dangerous and volitile systems in your home or place of business. Electricity is not something that you want to leave to an amature. You should always pay the extra cost and have a qualified professional to complete your project.
