What areas does HB Electric service?

HB Electric primarily serves Temecula, Murrieta, Menifee, Wildomar, Lake Elsinore, Canyon Lake, and surrounding communities throughout Southwest Riverside County.

Our service area may extend farther for larger residential, commercial, specialty, or multi-day electrical projects. Travel availability depends on the size and scope of the work.

If your property is outside our primary service area, contact us with a description of your project and location and we’ll let you know if we’re able to accommodate it.

Do you offer free electrical estimates?

In many cases, yes. For straightforward electrical projects, HB Electric can often provide preliminary pricing or a ballpark estimate by phone, text, or email after reviewing a description and photos of the work.

Some projects require an onsite evaluation before accurate pricing can be provided. Depending on the size, complexity, travel, troubleshooting required, or level of planning involved, an evaluation or consultation fee may apply. When appropriate, that fee may be credited toward the project if you choose to move forward with HB Electric.

For larger remodels, commercial projects, specialty electrical systems, or projects requiring significant planning, we may request additional information before scheduling an onsite evaluation.

Contact us with a description of your project and any available photos, and we’ll help determine the best next step.

What are your prices for electrical services?

Electrical pricing varies depending on the type of work, property conditions, accessibility, materials, permitting requirements, and the overall scope of the project.

Basic residential troubleshooting starts at $249, which includes travel to your property and up to the first hour of troubleshooting.

For installations, repairs, upgrades, EV charging, electrical panels, lighting, dedicated circuits, and other project-based work, pricing is determined based on the specific scope and conditions of the installation. In many cases, we can provide preliminary pricing after discussing the project and reviewing photos before scheduling an onsite visit.

Larger properties, commercial facilities, difficult access, specialty electrical systems, unusual existing conditions, or projects requiring additional equipment or personnel may be priced differently.

Any pricing shown on our website represents general starting pricing only and is not a quote or estimate. Pricing is subject to change, and current pricing provided directly by HB Electric for your specific project will always apply.

Contact us with a description and photos of your project and we can usually help determine the appropriate next step.

Are you licensed, bonded, and insured?

Yes. HB Electric is a licensed California electrical contractor and maintains the bonding and insurance coverage appropriate for our work, including commercial general liability and workers’ compensation insurance.

General liability insurance helps protect against covered property damage or injury related to a contractor’s work, while workers’ compensation provides coverage for employees who may be injured while working on a project.

When hiring any contractor, we recommend verifying that they are properly licensed, bonded, and adequately insured for the work being performed. Contractor license, bond, and workers’ compensation information can also be verified through the California Contractors State License Board.

What forms of payment do you accept for electrical services?

HB Electric accepts cash, check, and credit cards for electrical services.

Payment terms vary depending on the size and scope of the project. Smaller service calls and repairs are generally due upon completion, while larger projects may require a deposit and/or progress payments throughout the course of the work.

Any applicable deposit, payment schedule, or other payment terms will be clearly outlined in your estimate, proposal, or contract before work begins.

Please contact us if you have any questions regarding payment options for your project.

Do you offer a warranty on your electrical services?

Yes. HB Electric stands behind the quality of our workmanship.

Most electrical installations and repairs performed by HB Electric include a one-year workmanship warranty from the date the work is completed. If a problem is determined to have resulted from our workmanship during the applicable warranty period, we will return and correct the covered work at no labor charge.

Certain qualifying electrical panel upgrades may include an extended workmanship warranty, as specified in the proposal or contract for that project.

Materials and equipment supplied by HB Electric may also be covered by manufacturer warranties. Warranty terms vary by product, and manufacturer warranty coverage is separate from HB Electric’s workmanship warranty.

Our warranty does not cover unrelated existing conditions, normal wear, misuse, damage caused by others, alterations made after our work is completed, utility issues, environmental damage, or failures of customer-supplied equipment or materials.

Specific warranty terms applicable to your project will be provided with your estimate, proposal, invoice, or contract.

Why does professional electrical work cost what it does?

Professional electrical work involves much more than the time an electrician spends at your property. A qualified electrical contractor brings years of training and experience, specialized tools and testing equipment, a properly equipped service vehicle, licensing, insurance, ongoing code knowledge, and the ability to safely diagnose and work on one of the most critical systems in your home or business.

Electrical problems are not always as simple as they appear. An experienced electrician must be able to identify existing conditions, determine the cause of a problem, recognize potential safety concerns, select the proper materials and methods, and complete the work in accordance with applicable electrical codes and industry standards.

The cost of professional electrical service also reflects what is required to provide dependable service: properly maintained vehicles and equipment, quality materials, insurance, workers’ compensation, licensing, administrative support, training, and the responsibility that comes with standing behind completed work.

At HB Electric, we focus on providing dependable scheduling, clear communication, professional workmanship, quality materials, code-compliant installations, and electrical solutions designed to provide long-term value.

Whenever possible, we provide preliminary or starting pricing before scheduling service so customers have a better understanding of the expected investment before moving forward.

Do electrical projects require permits, and does HB Electric handle them?

Many electrical installations, upgrades, and alterations require permits and inspections from the local city or county. Permit requirements vary depending on the type of work, property location, and the authority having jurisdiction.

When HB Electric is contracted to provide permitting services, the applicable permit application, coordination, and inspection scheduling will be handled as specifically described in the estimate, proposal, or contract.

Permit fees, plan review requirements, utility coordination, engineering, and other jurisdictional requirements vary by project and are included only when specifically stated in writing.

If permitting services are not included in HB Electric’s scope of work, the property owner is responsible for obtaining any required permits and approvals before work begins.
